With a desire to give back to the local community, JAXON have aligned themselves with Scarlett's Smile, a fundraising campaign established to generate much needed funds to assist two year old Scarlett attend life changing therapy sessions.
The beautiful, forever smiling two year old was born with a rare genetic disorder called GNB1 gene mutation. This has resulted in Hypotonic cerebral palsy (low muscle tone) and global developmental delay, meaning Scarlett is unlikely to ever be able to hold her own head, sit, crawl or walk. Scarlett was also born with a cleft palate, club foot, hearing loss and a level of vision similar to legal blindness, as well suffering from daily seizures.
To maximise Scarlett's development and help ensure her quality of life, Scarlett undertakes a range of therapies. These therapies include Cuevas Medek Exercise Program, which Scarlett is scheduled to attend in 2 months' time at the Sydney Neurological and Physical Abilitation (NAPA) purpose built clinic.
Each Program costing upwards of $10,500.00.
As soon as JAXON heard of this worthy cause they knew they needed to support this amazing little girl achieve great things. JAXON's goal from the outset was to raise enough funds to cover the cost of a program, aiming for $10,500.00.
To date JAXON staff, our generous clients and sub-contractors have raised an impressive $7281.61 through numerous charitable means.
We thank all that have given so far, and encourage the giving to continue.
